Farms for the Future: The Importance of Farmer Collaboration

This blog explores, through interviewing experts in the field and opinion pieces, how we can do better for the environment, conservation and farmers. It draws upon my interest of improving farmer collaboration within and outside of the agricultural sector, as i believe that this will improve the resilience of farming in what has been a challenging time. My research shows that collaboration within cluster groups can have significant social, environmental and financial benefits for farmers. Previously I have focussed on the relationship between farming and academia, but am hoping to expand the scope of the blog to look at all aspects of farmer collaboration and to use my bring in my own experiences of working as a PhD student in the field.
